This learning package aims to provide the student with information about health and race – outlining both general terms used and examining the historical perspective of race in the UK. It then moves on to examine how this impacts on health. The clips are used to provide real life testimonies that may support or explode some of the myths and the literature within this field of study. Web links enable students to explore issues independently – with accompanying tasks designed to frame this exploration and encourage students to think critically both as an individual and in-groups. |
