Video Analysis
Here are some BE-ME video clips which show the kind of "social
mirror" created, not by parents in this case, but by
the widespread race prejudice experienced by Asian and Caribbean
settlers when they first arrived to live and work in Wolverhampton
in the 1950s and 1960s.
Like Jacqueline, each respondent is striving to see the social
mirror in which negative self images are being reflected back
to them.
