Procedure for Measuring Androgyny
The BSRI (Bem Sex Role Inventory)
We wanted to further confirm and test the scale of Androgyny
in the respondents A-F that were used in our 'Findings'
. To do this we decided to carry out the BSRI (Bem Sex Role
Inventory).
This is a test composed of 60 Questions. See the table below.

Overall findings
The BSRI confirms my original hypothesis in 4/6 cases (67%),
suggesting that settlers to the West Midlands did adapt to
their new situation through a re-writing of gender schemas.
