Seemingly limitless in the
temporal and geographic planes it travels, yet restricted
to the performance space of
a school hall, ‘Home’ engages children in
the drama of the characters’ stories.
From the outset, the children are eased into
a comfortable relationship with the cast through the character
Cora, who sits among the audience and poses questions to
the four characters. As each character tells his or her
own story, he or she addresses Cora and the audience around
her.
