Each school hosting ‘Home’ was provided with a resource pack containing information relevant to the production and to theatre-in-education, a list of sources for further reading into the uses of TIE in the Key Stage Two PSHE Citizenship curriculum and example in-class activities to follow the production.

Although drama experience is not essential for teachers or children to participate in the activities, teachers should not see the pack as a quick reference manual for last-minute lesson ideas. Rather, activities in the pack were designed to support teachers’ personal development in delivering the Key Stage Two PSHE Citizenship curriculum through drama.

In addition to meeting specific points in the curriculum, the performance and play may satisfy several non-statutory guidelines.
